Working Visa (Index Code:E23)

This visa allows you to legally work and live in Indonesia while contributing your expertise to the country's growing economy.

Working Visa in Indonesia is issued to foreign professionals who fulfill specific roles and are employed by company located in Indonesia. Here are the general requirements for obtaining the Working Visa:

  • The job must be one that is not easily filled by local employees. Typically, this includes positions in management, technical fields, or specialized roles.
  • Foreign worker’s employment must meet Indonesia’s legal requirements such as labor laws, working condition, salary standards and health & safety standards

Working Visa (Index Code:E23) Process

 

  1. Obtain Working Permit
    To work in Indonesia, the company must complete a Working Permit with the Ministry of Manpower and pay a USD 1,200 fee (for 1 year) for the Expertise and Skills Development Fund
  2. Submit Documents
    Once all necessary documents are collected, we will submit your application to the Ministry of Manpower and Central Immigration System.
  3. Obtain the Work Permit, including RPTKA and IMTA.
    Obtain the Work Permit (RPTKA) and IMTA through the Ministry of Manpower system, with an estimated processing time of 14 working days.
  4. Receive E-Visa
    The Directorate General of Immigration will review and approve your visa application, issuing the E-Visa within 7-10 days. You must enter Indonesia within 90 days of receiving the E-Visa.
  5. Issuance of temporary stay permit (ITAS)
    Usually issued within 2-3 hours after arrival. If there are any delays, we will submit your request manually, which may take an additional 5-6 days.

Processing Time

The normal process takes 14-21 working days if there are no technical problems with the system. Not including Saturdays, Sundays, and National Public Holidays.
