Retirement Visa is for foreign nationals with minimum age 60 years old to have stay permit in Indonesia without the burden of bureaucratic procedures. Valid for one year and extendable, here are the general requirements :

  • Applicant must have valid health insurance and pension funds and/or bank deposits of USD 30.000
  • Must rent or lease a home in Indonesia as residential address
  • Applicant is required to hire local assistants, such as a housekeeper or driver, as part of the visa conditions.

Retirement Visa Process

  1. Initial Submission and Review
    Submit the required materials to the local Immigration Office, where they will assess the application and verify the provided information for accuracy and completeness.
  2. Biometric Registration
    Attend a session at the local immigration office for biometric data collection, including a facial photograph and fingerprinting
  3. Visa Issuance
    Once approved, the Immigration Office will issue the Retirement Visa, detailing the validity period, reference number, and the applicant’s personal information.
